Welcome to March Hare Archers

March Hare Archers is a field archery club based in Throckmorton, Worcestershire, where we have a permanent 28 target course. The club is affiliated only to the English Field Archery Association.

Archers are always welcome to come and shoot. For those new to archery we run beginners' courses that include loan of equipment and instruction from qualified instructors.For more details, click the club tag above.

Our club has members of both sexes, ages from 8 years upwards and all levels of abilities; whether you are holding a bow for the first time or are the best in your style you will receive the warmest of welcomes.

2010 Membership

If you haven't already completed your membership form for 2010 please do so as soon as possible. You will be unable shoot at any EFAA shoots after 31 January 2010 unless you have a 2010 classification card.

The form can be downloaded from this website and has also been emailed to members within the last few days. Alternatively, you can obtain copies from the Clubhouse. Completed forms should be passed to Joan Gray or sent to Steve Kendrick at the address on the form.

2010 SHOOT DATES

Please note that the January and March shoot dates are as stated on this website and not as stated in the Field Archer. The next shoot is on Sunday 17 January 2010 and not 10 January as stated in the Field Archer.

The March shoot is a Field shoot which will be held on 28 March 2010 and not 14 March.

Using the Club for Practice

Some of our members have keys for the gate at the club. By all means use the club for practice when you can, but please make sure that if you close the gate behind you. We have had ‘undesirables’ drive onto the ground when the gate has been left open, so for your security and ours please make sure that you close it after you.

Volunteers Needed

During the winter months people appreciate the fact that bacon sandwiches and the like can be purchased at the Sunday shoots. The only snag is that the bacon and sausages, etc do not cook themselves. Volunteers for cooking duties or for putting out targets on the day would be much appreciated. If anyone can help, please contact Claire Thompson or Joan Gray.
